HPS Names Bob Thompson as its Director of International Operations

GUELPH, Ontario (January 3, 2012) – Hammond Power Solutions Inc. (HPS), North America’s leading manufacturer of dry-type transformers and magnetics, has named Bob Thompson as their Director of International Operations.

Mr. Thompson brings extensive technical and industrial knowledge in the oil transformer industry. He will play a key role in the growth of HPS’ International markets, as well as define strategies that will be developed for new targeted markets.

For the past 11 years, Mr. Thompson was President of Moloney Electric and brings with him over 30 years of experience in the oil transformer industry.
